Golden Trees

Turn a blank square canvas into a glowing golden canopy! Inspired by David Hockney, this paint and sip Houston session swaps perfectionism for bold color and playful impasto texture. You'll start by sketching a winding path, tall twisting trunks, and the canopy shapes, then paint those trunks in a deep, dark brown.

Tickets: $40

Paint a golden tree-lined path in thick, joyful dabs of paint.

Next comes the magic -- green leaves slowly turning gold as sunlight spills across the path. Your instructor, Julia, guides you step by step, so you can relax and enjoy the process even if you've never picked up a brush. With paints, brushes, an easel, and an apron all included, it's one of the most laid-back art classes Houston has to offer.

Kids are welcome too, so if you're hunting for fun things to do in Houston with family, you've found your answer.

Perfect if you're looking for unique date ideas, fun activities with friends, birthday party ideas, and more, this paint and sip class is the perfect way to spend an afternoon.
